First can I mention the stunning illustrations on the covers of this series done by Kerry Chin.
This is probably one of my favourite m/m
series. There is just something special
in the writing and how the characters come alive to the point I feel as much as
they do. It always says a lot about an
author when they can draw out emotions while you read the story. And not just lust or anger, but passion and a
love beyond just caring.
What I did while reading was feel and
wonder how the world could be so cruel as to not accept the love that any two
people share. With so much ugliness in the world, how can it be wrong to
love. Anyway, I digress as the tears
stain my cheeks. I was just so moved by
this story only finishing it short while ago.
If you love romance, read this
series. Yes, there is sex but there is
so much more than that. Not that I didn’t
enjoy those parts, lol. But this series
is about a budding and struggling relationship to survive while the individuals
battle their own demons. Beware, you
will not be the same after reading. And I mean that in a good way.
Great Job and I can’t wait to get my
hands on book 3.
